There are as many as two monuments to dogs of this breed in the world. One of them is located in the homeland of Karl Dobermann, in the German city of Apolda, and the second on the island of Guam, where the Dobermans took part in the liberation war in 1944. The names of 25 dogs that died in heavy battles that marched in the area are carved on the monument.
