The Spanish Alano breed is several centuries old. She was mentioned by King Alfonso, who ruled in the territories of Castile and Lyon. The time of his reign fell in the middle of 1300 (1311-1350). The famous phrase belongs to the king: “the dog-Alano bites not because it is hungry, but because it seeks to grab everything that moves”.
