The Norwich Terrier is a small, stocky dog. At the withers, it usually ranges between 25 and 30 cm, and the weight does not exceed 7 kg, which makes this breed very convenient for housing. The back is straight, the tail is set high, docked by 2/3 (at the request of the owner), usually stands upright. The eyes are dark, the look is cheerful and attentive. The ears are large, set wide apart, erect (in contrast to the Norfolk tetrieres, whose ears are drooping). The paws are rather thick, not long, which makes the dog seem a bit stretched.
