The first representatives of the breed were not at all like modern ones: they were distinguished by a stocky physique and a rather unprepossessing appearance, and also quite often showed aggression. The followers of the “father” of these dogs have significantly improved the breed, thanks to which the Doberman has become more elegant and friendly.
