The current appearance of these animals was bred as a result of a genetic mutation. Puppies without hair were found in the offspring of the rat terrier. Small puppies, like two peas in a pod, looked like their parents, except for one caveat – the lack of hair. The owners presented this unusual dog to their friends, who were simply delighted with the appearance, good nature, and developed intelligence of this miracle. Having received such a treasure as a gift, the Scott family decided to start breeding these dogs.
