The coat of Lundehund is thick, coarse, with a soft undercoat, short on the head and the front surface of the legs, longer along the body, it can form a small collar on the neck, and slight feathering on the tail. The color is white (Irish spot) in combination with other colors – red of different shades, with blackening at the ends of the hair, while blackening increases with age.
