The American Eskimo dog is a harmoniously built dog, in its appearance resembling the most ancient breeds that were with humans even during the Ice Age because it carries the features of wild ancestors. The muzzle is elongated, the eyes are large, dark, the ears are triangular and erect. The length of the body exceeds the height at the withers, the paws are strong and rather thick, the tail is set high, curled into a ring, and thrown onto the back.
