Long-haired Chihuahuas have a soft coat that is flat or slightly curly. On the body, it is almost as smooth as a Chihuahua with a smooth coat, but there is fringe on the ears, and the tail with feathers fan out along the back. He also has a ruff on his neck and longer hair called trimmings on his legs. The hind legs are also covered with long hair, reminiscent of pants – that’s what it is called. On the belly there are longer hairs known as frills.
