According to the American Kennel Club, miniature dachshunds are not separated into a separate class, but are presented in the subsection of dogs “from 5 kg and below, aged 12 months and older.” Regular sized dogs usually weigh 7-14 kg. There is no standard for dachshunds, but they usually grow up to 22 cm.
