A tall, slender dog with a large head, somewhat pendulous damp lips, and thick drooping ears. She has an expressive transition from forehead to muzzle, dewlaps on the neck and tail, deep chest, and muscular limbs. The slightly sloping croup ends with a medium-length tail, which is never a curved hook.
