Unfortunately, at the moment it is impossible to name the exact time of the appearance of this breed, but there are assumptions that this is about 1880 – then in England, the Cocker Spaniels and Springer Spaniels were born in the same litter. At the first shows in America, only English spaniels were exhibited.
