The head of the Andalusian Hound is not large, narrow. Both in a calm and in an excited state, the dog holds it’s head high. The length of the forehead is approximately equal to the length of the muzzle. The transition from the forehead to the muzzle is noticeably pronounced, but not sharp. The muzzle is strongly narrowed towards the nose, dry, with a pronounced relief of the cheekbones. The nose is small, sharp, colored to match the coat. The lips fit tightly.
