The Australian Kelpie’s head is round with a well-defined stop. The muzzle tapers towards the nose. Erect ears pointed. The coat is of medium length, straight, smooth but hard. There is a thick undercoat. Color is allowed chocolate, black, red, black-and-back with tan and gray-blue.
