It is believed that the Labrador Retriever has served humans around the early 18th century. Modern researchers disagree about the origin of the Labrador, but the generally accepted version is that the Newfoundland was crossed with the dog of St. John, as well as with several other local waterfowl breeds. With which, to date, it has not yet been possible to establish, however, we can see the result with our own eyes, in the Labrador breed.
