In the very middle of this area, the habitat with a large tongue descends to the south in the central part of the mainland, and also covers the western part in a semicircle. Here the dingo can be found most often, although in other regions this animal is not uncommon. Small separate groups are found in New Guinea and some countries in Southeast.
