Give this dog a job. He does not want to just lie all day and find himself a “job” if you do not provide one: he usually runs over the fence and barks at passers-by, digs holes in China or gnaws at your furniture. If you have a farm or ranch, he will help you with animal husbandry; otherwise, involve him in dog sports such as agility, diving, nose work, obedience or trekking.
