Biyi is a descendant of large white royal dogs. At the beginning of the 20th century, the owner of the Jubilo de Rivo castle bred Billys from several breeds that are now extinct – these are Montebeuf, Larry and Seris. After the Second World War, only 2 representatives of the Biya breed remained alive, which were taken as the basis for breeding a new breed line. This breed is extremely rare these days. In France, there are only 2-3 packs that are used for hunting hares and wild boars.
