Although outwardly this breed and resembles the American Bulldog, it comes from the English Otto small Bulldog. The breed is maintained and developed from an old breeding program initiated by the American breeder Buck Lane in the USA in 1800. His program was aimed at reviving the extinct plantation bulldog breed from South Georgia. As a result, many Americans of the late 9th century became the happy owners of the Alapakh purebred bulldogs, respectfully calling them “blue-blooded bulldogs.”
